“When you know what you want, and want it bad enough, you will find a way to get it” Jim Rohn. This quote reminds me that if you really want to do something and it's hard, you have to work really hard and you can reach your goal. I feel this why because if you really want to do something you will try your best to get to that place where you want to be at in life. My dad was the one who told me this when I was just a kid we were working on a car and he showed me how to fix the part and keep trying until I got it right. This moment in my life made me want to be a mechanic.
My world has been a good place to grow up in. It has made me into who I am and helps me know why I am here. My family helps me stay focused and work on my stuff for senior year. My sister helps me keep my head up in school and tells me to give it my best to graduate. Making my family happy is important to me because they were there for me since I started school. I’m going to pay they everything back by graduating high school and going to college.
My community has helped me because we have olive trees and orange trees here and during the summer I go work with my dad. It has showed me that you need to work hard to get the thing that you want. I learned from my community that it is hard to work in the hot sun. I’ve learned from it that is why I want to go to college. My school has helped me by showing me that when I don’t get something I’m working on, not to just sit there and to just ask for help.
My dream is to become a mechanic one day and open my own shop. When I finish with UTI (Universal Technical Institute) I will move to either Washington or Idaho. Ever since I could remember owning a shop and working on cars has been my dream. When I get out of school I plan to start working and save up money. Being out in the community will help me make connections with future customers. If people get to know me and like my work, when I open my shop they will follow me and give me business.
